Deep Tissue

Deep tissue massage centers on realigning the deeper layers of connective and muscle tissue. It aims to release the chronic patterns of tension in the body through slow strokes and deep finger pressure on the tense areas, either following or going across the fiber’s of the muscles, tendons and fascia. It is particularly helpful for continually tight and contracted areas such as stiff necks, low back tightness, and sore shoulders.

Sports Massage

Sports massage focuses on the muscles used during exercise or athletic activity. It can help reduce pre-exercise muscle tension, improve range of motion, and speed up recovery time. It’s also been shown to decrease post-exercise levels of cortisol – aka stress hormones – which can be helpful for relieving tension headaches, anxiety, and depression. It also helps with loosening tight muscles, increasing athletic performance. It also helps your body injury prevention, pain, or any chronic pain that you may have.

Kinesiology Taping

Kinesiology tape can be applied in hundreds of ways and has the ability to re-educate the neuromuscular system, reduce inflammation, prevent injury, promote good circulation and healing, and assist in returning the body to homeostasis. When the tape is applied to your body, it recoils slightly, gently lifting your skin. It is believed that this helps to create a microscopic space between your skin and the tissues underneath it.

IASTM

Instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM) is a manual therapy treatment to help relieve pain from soft-tissue injuries. Therapists use specially designed tools to help remodel scar tissue, increase range of motion, promote tissue healing, and decrease pain.

Assisted Stretching

Assisted Stretching has many key benefits that differ from unassisted stretching. Assisted stretching with the help of a skilled therapist allows you to address targeted areas and ensures you are getting the proper range of motion that your body needs. This is a wonderful way to improve joint health and flexibility. Scheduling an assisted stretch session with a trained therapist allows you the opportunity to get a routine targeted to your own unique needs. The therapist will be able to assess your range of motion and then create a plan to help improve your overall well-being.
